The seven questions every seller asks.

Short, direct answers about the real policies behind every sale.

Fair Offer Will I get a fair offer?
The buy list is priced from current market values and kept up to date, so you see what we pay before you send a single thing. The track record is public too: a flat 5.0 across 7,500+ Whatnot reviews, and eBay Top Rated Seller status with 99.9% positive feedback over 21,000+ sales. Sellers who worried about getting lowballed say so in the reviews: go read them.
Unknown Items What if I don’t know what I have?
Send what you’ve got. The buy list covers most retro and modern systems, and you don’t need to know a Game Boy from a Game Gear to use it. For big or mystery lots (a relative’s collection, an attic find), email contact@ctpicker.com first and we’ll sort it out together.
Condition What about condition?
Condition comes down to three words: loose (cartridge or disc only), CIB (complete in box: game, box, and manual), and sealed. Not sure where something lands? Say so in your email and we’ll grade it together before you ship anything. See the full condition guide →
Shipping & Loss Who pays for shipping? What if something is lost in transit?
We pay shipping on orders over $100; under $100, shipping is on you. Pack everything securely: loss or damage in transit is covered by the carrier.
Adjusted Offers What if the offer changes after CT Picker inspects the items?
If something arrives in worse shape than the sheet said, we may adjust the offer. You’re never obligated to take an adjusted offer: decline it, and your items ship back to you at your expense, in full.
Payment Timing When exactly do I get paid?
Within 2 business days of receipt and confirmation. We inspect on arrival, confirm everything matches your sheet, and send eCheck. The clock starts when your items arrive and check out, not when you ship.
Selling It Yourself Why not sell on eBay or Whatnot myself?
You can, and this answer comes from someone who sells on both platforms every week. Doing it yourself means photographing every item, researching values, writing listings, managing buyers, packing, shipping, handling returns, and eating 10–15% in platform fees. Our offers are built from what those platforms actually pay, without you doing any of that work. A rare single title can be worth self-listing; for a whole collection, the math rarely is.
